Many Hands Monday

Get skills and give back to your community! Every week we pick a project for a neighbor who needs a little help. Learn to fix appliances, build shelves, repair basic electronics and more. Students get to choose the projects and clients. Taught by Jack Perrin and Jared Wolf

Woodworking for Homeschoolers
➔ Thursdays, Oct 9th-Nov 13th | 12:30-2:30pm
This session is focused on woodturning! We’ll spend 6 weeks learning the magic of the wood lathe. Carve it as it spins, to make yourself a top, a wand, a bat or a bowl. Taught by Lacey Spray.

Wood and Metal Explorations
Discover the possibilities of working with wood and copper in this hands-on class. Through a mix of techniques and creative experimentation, we’ll explore ways to shape, texture, and combine these materials. We may make functional pieces or create expressive art. There will be time in this class to experiment and create with cool materials!

Machine Sewing for Kids
Make this beautiful handbag all in one afternoon! This class is geared towards beginners and guides kids through all the steps to sew a bag they will use proudly. This is taught by Anne Gengler, who has been helping kids learn to sew at the makerspace for many years.
