  • Many Hands Monday

    Mondays 2 - 5 pm

    Get skills and give back to your community! Every week we pick a project for a neighbor who needs a little help. Learn to fix appliances, build shelves, repair basic electronics and more. Students get to choose the projects and clients. Taught by Jack Perrin and Jared Wolf

  • Open Shop: Tuesday Tech and Art

    Tuesdays 3 - 5 pm

    Sewing, crafting, 3D printing, robotics, circuits, laser cutting, sticker making, painting, sign making, jewelry, are some of the many options for kids on Tuesday. This is a chance for kids to learn and tinker with the help of our experienced coaches. Led by Jack Perrin and Jared Wolf

    Open Shop: Thursday Woodworking

    Thursdays 3 - 5 pm

    An entire afternoon devoted to our most favorite medium: wood! Learn some new tools and skills while working on projects of your own choice or ours. Led by Jack Perrin and Jared Wolf

  • Woodworking for Homeschoolers

    This session is focused on instrument building! Our primary project will be a 3-string guitar, an excellent one to learn on. We’ll cover various woodworking tools and techniques along the way, and there will be plenty of time to customization. Taught by Jared.

  • Wood and Metal Explorations

    Discover the possibilities of working with wood and copper in this hands-on class.  Through a mix of techniques and creative experimentation, we’ll explore ways to shape, texture, and combine these materials.  We may make functional pieces or create expressive art.  There will be time in this class to experiment and create with cool materials!

  • Machine Sewing for Kids

    Make this beautiful handbag all in one afternoon! This class is geared towards beginners and guides kids through all the steps to sew a bag they will use proudly. This is taught by Anne Gengler, who has been helping kids learn to sew at the makerspace for many years.
