The digital fabrication lab (affectionately called the Fab Lab) is where we keep all our 3D printers, laser and vinyl cutters. It's also where you can make your digital dreams come true! This is an open shop format, which means students come with their ideas, and we provide assistance with their projects.

In this 2 -session class you'll have time to create a work of art that will make you proud for years to come. Shaping, texturing, painting, adding a grip, guard and pommel are all skills you will learn.

Join us to learn the art of needle felting! You'll create a miniature version of a woodland animal of your choice from a photo. We will make bendable armatures, then felt wool around them to make an animated furry pet or creature. Please bring an image for inspiration; all other materials will be provided. Taught by Molly Holmlund.

Who doesn't love to make things fly? In this 2-session class we'll explore numerous ways to build simple aircraft, such as boomerangs, paper airplanes, helicopters and more.

Sew a zippered pouch in an afternoon. Choose from several sizes of pouch and a variety of fabrics. Fabric, zippers and sewing machines provided. If there’s a specific item you’d like to be able to fit in your pouch, bring it or its measurements to class. Once you’ve learned how, you can make additional pouches for gifts at Sewing Circle (Mondays)!

All skill levels welcome. Taught by Anne Gengler and Andi Andree.

➔ 4 Mondays, Nov. 2 - 23 | 2-5pm

Join us for 4 afternoons of making stained glass art! You’ll learn how to cut, grind, foil, and solder glass to create one of a kind pieces. From two-dimensional panels and picture frames to three-dimensional plants and boxes, there are endless possibilities of what you can make with stained glass. No experience required to sign up. All materials are provided.

This is a chance for kids to explore new ways of making. With less emphasis on power tools and woodworking, Wednesdays are focused on technical arts (3D printing, laser cutting, stickers and t-shirts), sewing, painting and printing, and crafting. This includes cardboard creations, electronic gadgets, jewelry, beading, and sign making.

Come join us for 4 sessions of building, tinkering and coding with the LEGO Spike Education Kit. Students will construct gears, levers and other simple machines that make up the structure of robots. Next they will learn to command their robots using a block-based computer language. Along the way there will be lots of challenges and contests for their robot.

Learn to carve your own stamps! We’ll cover the basics of carving and sculpting your artwork into custom stamps for printing cards and more. You’ll go home with stamps and cards you made, just in time for the holidays.
