Private Events at Gorge MakerSpace

Are you searching for a unique activity to surprise a group of your friends or family? Are you planning a birthday party and looking for the perfect place to entertain a lot of kids? Gorge MakerSpace may be the perfect place!

We host private classes for special occasions like birthday parties, team building events, school field trips, youth programs, and staff retreats.

  • It depends on the event, but generally, you’ll be guided through an activity or curriculum and you’ll have access to the tools necessary for that project. Every event includes an instructor who will set up and lead the class throughout its duration. Everyone will be expected to join in a 10-minute cleanup at the end.

  • Private events can be up to 2.5 hours long.

  • There may be other staff or volunteers around, but whichever space you’ve reserved won’t be used by others during your designated timeslot. 

  • All participants will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival, unless they have a current waiver in our system already.

  • The number of participants depends on the specifics of the event, but usually we can accommodate up to 16 guests. Certain events may need a smaller cap, such as a private blacksmithing class or similar. There can be a bigger group for cake and presents, if that is part of the gathering.

  • Kids Small Birthday Party

    Includes:
    - Guided activity for 2 hours
    - Up to 8 participants

  • Kids Large Birthday Party

    Includes:
    - Guided activity for 2 hours
    - Up to 16 participants

  • Adult Custom Event

    For adult team building events and private classes, pricing is dependent on materials and number of participants.
