Hands-on workshops for ages 15+We hope to reach makers from all corners of our community – all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are welcome at Gorge MakerSpace. To achieve this, we strive to keep our classes as affordable as possible. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us. If you are 16-25 years old, you are eligible for a full scholarship!

Open Shop

Have you attended a class at Gorge MakerSpace, or do you have reliable skills already? Then you can come to Open Shop!
If you don’t yet have the skills to work independently in the shop, book a class first!

Hydrofoil Carbon Repair
➔ Thursday, May 21 | 5:30-8:30pm
Join us for an evening of hydrofoil carbon repair instruction. Class will focus on the materials and techniques to make cost effective and functional repairs to our expensive toys! Focus will be on board and hydrofoil mast and wing repairs using epoxy and carbon fabric. Bring your chipped, dented, or scratched carbon and we’ll make it watertight and ready for playtime! Outdoor Gear Repair
➔ Thursday, May 21 | 5:30-8:30pm
Bring in some of your outdoor gear you are hoping to patch, fix, troubleshoot or alter. We’ll work primarily with hand and machine sewing techniques, but other methods can be accommodated (e.g., gluing). Come join us for a collaborative session of breathing new life into well loved gear! Taught by Claire Keeler.
