Unleash your creativity at summer camp! We are excited to offer another summer of fun programming for youth campers. Students will get tons of hands-on experience, work with different tools, and learn new skills—all in a fun and supportive environment with other campers and instructors.

Tool Up!
➔ June 15- 19th | 9am - 3pm
Do you want to make a career out of working with your hands? Start your job training and learn basic construction skills in this program. We’ll spend our time visiting job sites, learning from contractors and tradespeople, and practicing our skills back at the shop.

Kamp Kidsville
➔ June 22 - 26th | 9am - 4pm
Let’s build Kidsville! This is one of our longest running and most popular camps, where we construct a real town on site. Decide as a group which buildings our town needs, and learn some basic building skills while we construct, decorate, and cut the ribbon on our new town.

Sewing Pajamas
➔ June 23 & 24th | 9am - 12pm
Make your own lightweight sweatpants/PJ bottoms with pockets. In this 2-day camp you’ll cut out a pattern, use the pattern to cut out your fabric and then sew the pants. Sewing machine, pattern, and fabric will be provided.

Woodworking Camp: Whimsical Boxes
➔ June 29 - July 2nd | 9am - 12pm
Make a little box for your treasures and keepsakes that looks like none other. These boxes are a blast to make and each one is a reflection of the campers’ creativity. Learn to safely use the bandsaw and other power tools. No woodworking experience required! Your finished product will look like it was made by a pro.

Woodturning Camp
➔ July 6 - 9th | 9am - 12pm
There are so many cool things you can make on a wood lathe: medieval magic wands, gorgeous jewelry boxes with lids that spin like a top, even rings and bracelets. No experience required to attend camp! The things you create will make your friends think you’ve been turning for years. Limited to 5 kids.

Make It to Market
➔ July 13 - 18th | 9am - 3pm
Take your woodworking or art skills to market! We’ll learn about design, budgeting, production, branding and sales of your cool projects, all with plenty of time for making and creativity. Includes a day of laser cutting and sticker making to advertise your brand. End the week with a sales booth at the HR Farmer’s Market!

STEM Camp: LEGO Robotics
➔ July 20 - 24th | 9am - 12pm
Building LEGO robots is one of the most exciting ways to introduce kids to a myriad of STEM topics. In this camp we’ll learn to build vehicles that can be programmed to sense their environment. There will be lots of games and challenges, all done in a cooperative environment with other campers.

Giant Chain Reaction Machines

Remember the board game Mousetrap? Have you ever built a Rube Goldberg Machine as a school assignment? We’re gong to take those ideas to a GIGANTIC scale. Imagine bowling balls, bicycles, trap doors, and yes, giant dominos!

Craft Camp: Magic Potions and Forbidden Brews
➔ August 3 - 7th | 10am - 3pm
Join us for a colorful and fun-filled camp where we will become alchemists! We will explore the natural materials around us and create our own homemade colors to paint with and dye wool. Together, we will felt the wool as we connect with nature and with each other.

Age guidelines are approximate. If you feel your child is sufficiently mature enough to handle a particular class, or if you have other concerns related to age and development levels, contact us. It’s usually a question of independence and focus. If your child possesses these traits, they’ll probably do great.

It depends on the day(s) they miss. Attendance is helpful during the first day(s) to learn essential skills and bond with other students. We understand summer is a time for travel and will attempt to accommodate your plans.

Yes, when the class is full the “sign up” button will change to “join waitlist,” and we’ll let you know as soon as there are openings.

No. All of our summer camps are meant to accommodate beginners. We make a special effort to welcome all levels of experience, skill and aptitude in our programs.

Depending on the subject of the camp, your child will spend part of the day in a shop filled with a dazzling array of powerful tools. All tools that are available to campers are introduced in a serious and non-threatening manner that emphasizes safety. Instructors accompany children during the use of all power tools.

We provide energy bars, fruit and other non-sugary snacks to supplement the lunch and snacks we ask each camper to bring every day. Please alert us to any food allergies and we’ll make sure to take precautions and provide alternatives.
